Yearbook Club (9th-12th)
Sponsor: Renee Anderson
Yearbook Club members are teacher nominated students who are in or have attended technology classes at Oak Hill. Members are chosen in September and meet primarily on club days. Around January they meet more often.
All activities involved in the yearbook club focus on the construction of the yearbook. These activities include taking pictures, drawing layouts, cropping photographs, writing and typing copy, and selling advertisements and yearbooks. The physical goal is to produce an excellent yearbook that arrives in May before graduation. Materials must be prepared on time each year to meet a series of deadlines that spans from September to May.
Through their involvement in the club, students develop valuable skills in photography, design, and teamwork while preserving memories that will last a lifetime.
