Archery

Oak Hill is excited to have three Archery Teams, Elementary (grade 4-5), Middle School (grades 6-8), and High School (grades 9-12).

Signup for Archery is held late August into early September.  Returning members are allowed the opportunity to signup first followed by anyone who is interested in becoming a member.  We welcome all students who are interested in giving archery a try!

Practices are held on Thursday's. We break the archers up into two groups and practice for an hour with each group.

Each summer some of our Oak Hill Archery students choose to participate in the Cenla Summer Archery program. These are tournaments held biweekly offering students the opportunity to keep shooting during the summer months.

Archery can be a life-long sport. You can continue archery outside of school and go on to experience bow hunting or compete using a compound.  You never know if you like something until you give it a try.
